Theses

At the Chair of Accounting and Management Control theses can either focus on literature reviews or empirical and experimental research. Despite the focus, any thesis should reveal a substantial theoretical and academic examination of issues, which are of practical relevance from the perspective of accounting and management control. This implies that a thesis focusing on a literature review should not lack practical relevance. On the other hand, empirical research should not appear in the form of purely descriptive case studies but rather be comprised of intensively researched case studies. Generally, it is possible to write the thesis in cooperation with a business company. The thesis can be written in German or English language.
